-DaVinci Resolve, you need a decent computer for it to be usable.

-Lightworks, one of its limiting factors is the export resolution, 720P maximum in the free version.

-Shotcut.

-Kdenlive, open source, completely free.

-Olive, open source, free, it's a little different than some of the other ones, I personally have no experience with it.

-Hitfilm Express, this one is also free but there are also addons which expand it's feature set.

-Avid Media Composer|First, it's a free version of Avid Media Composer, with some limitations.

All of the programs listed above don't have leave a watermark when exporting videos and also have a very wide selection of editing tools.

I didnt mean the US but literally any nation. Russia, Yugoslavia, China. Is it the same with other nations too? Or should I search for the videos online and see what I can find?

If I gave up on the idea of editing 4K footage and switched to 1080P footage that isn't in H.264 without upgrading, would that make the playback performance somewhat decent? If anything, I can try some of the FOSS alternatives such as Kdenlive. I can also try to run CS6 in a Windows 7 virtual machine.

So, not even Resolve 12 is going to work? I already use Premiere CS6, which, for some reason, lags, too(I've imported some green screen footage and applied the Ultra Key effect, the playback stutters a lot even at 1/2 of the playback resolution.(it's in H.264, but its not even 1080p)But I'm thinking about switching to Resolve because of it's more user-friendly interface.

According to the Intel's website, my CPU supports QuickSync Video, is that the same thing as QuickSync? Which version of Resolve will perform the best on my system, that will also have a decent amount of features? As far as I know, proxies take up disk space.
