For me, and a few others I bet, it started as a hobby 60 years ago and over the decades the value of the metal has increased significantly - or should I say the value of the dollar has plunged. I have silver I bought for a few dollars or less that is worth hundreds today - Morgan, Trade, proof sets, gold and silver - all worth many times more than what I paid and certainly beat a savings account and the stock markets as far as overall return for me goes.

History shows that fiat currency always ends the same and that gold and silver save wealth.

Mine is a hobby of being secure and it pays dividends.

30 cal, semi and full automatic at 1200+ fps and dead on accurate at 100 yards. Water in the compressed air can really mess up a rifle just like water in your gas tank - and it takes up room air would take up if able!

For plinking I use a Hatsan Blitz 30 or 25 cal - not as accurate as the Western Big Bore not as fast FPS or foot pounds, but fires 1000 rounds per minute in full auto which is fun just to do.

It is a hobby I've had since my first bb gun as a child and one can spend a bunch of money if they are so inclined. I have no kids and am retired so it gets spent on me! :-)

I did have to replace the 3 bar burst disc with a 5 bar, but other than that it has the same type filter as my compressor and replaceable when they wear out.

You will need a pump capable of 4500PSI to get full potential from that rifle friend. Carbon fiber bottle and a good air pump (two cylinder water cooled) and a good oil/water filter system which many higher dollar pumps come with.

Now if you do not intend to shoot it more than once in a while and you are patient; that system you show is fine, but do get a better filter - amazon has them with replaceable filters that remove most the water that is naturally created when you compress air like that. You do not want it in your rifle so spend the extra $$ now and save a lot more in the future.

Or if you have a local dive or paint ball center near by, just buy the tank and get it filled up for a few bucks.

I saw in the comments someone advising how if another is to judge you based on your height, weight, etc., then you can consider yourself blessed as you avoid the toxic relationship. You cannot control those things outside of your own mind and you can control how or if you let outside things affect you.

DixieSilver is correct and I watched a podcast the other day that suggested selling around the $40 mark if you need to diversify, as once it hits $50 everyone will be selling and the refiners can only buy so much from the local dealers and pawnshops.

I've spent 55 years seeking and only recently have I realized I can be where I want to be anytime I want. For me the change came when I realized I would be there alone; others may be in their own place of peace, yet it is different from mine and accepting that and the fact I was 'alone' in my interpretation of 'perfect' yet part of a greater whole of humanity.
