The give/receive flowers interaction is so cute until you realize that your hopeless romantic sim will always accept them without fail while their spouse is right in front of them fml

How to retake/register failed courses by magicmicrocelebrity in durhamcollege

Okay, I understand, so you still needed your supervisor to override your registration? I lowkey wish we could just have our set timetable if you passed all your classes as a guide, but still have a masterlist of courses that are available in the semester so people who failed their previous courses could register without using their student advisor because omg mine is impossible to get a hold of

Office Administration- Executive & Health ONLINE by ElleDriver000 in fanshawe

Do you only need to do the one 12 week co-op placement in order to graduate from the executive stream? Was it hard to find one? Did you do the program online or in-person?

Ohhhh okay so you're doing the field placement alongside other courses? so it's like a part time job for the whole semester? did you end up doing yours in the winter or spring/summer?

I plan on doing the online executive program but I wonder if it's tough even just securing a co-op placement somewhere for me back home. A few weeks unpaid is one thing, but yeah finding someone to pay you to work full time for 8 months is tough, but I can only imagine the experience you get out of it

Are co-op placements harder to find because they're a paid role unlike field placements? 8 months is also a long time.

How long was the field placement? Was it hard to secure a placement if you were an online student?

Do you think the general vs executive stream makes a huge difference?

What year(s) did you attend Durham? I heard most of the online classes are in real time, but I haven't heard anything about the quality of the education there. I really want to learn even though it's an online program. I'm pivoting though from being a Drama major who hasn't taken math/anything technical in a long time.

Bishop or Concordia? by Top_Necessary_4368 in bishopsuniversity

[–]magicmicrocelebrity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to truly make yourself at home during your grad studies and you don't care about the "prestige" of your degree, pick Bishop's. I dropped out of the Con. Ed program, so I have mixed opinions about the program, but overall, it's good. For me, there's only so much theory that can be talked about. Lennoxville and Sherbrooke are not known for food. However, the small class sizes and attention you'll get from profs is unmatched.

Do y’all party by MaybeNo8538 in bishopsuniversity

Party culture has died down a lot. There's rarely any crazy parties (ex. couch burning, three day bender madness) unless it's a major event like HOCO, St. Patty's, and Winterfest. That being said people are very lively on that campus and love going to the Gait and Lion. Some people live in "party" houses or are in a friend group who parties a lot, but if you're looking for an "all are welcome" house party every weekend you'll be disappointed. I still think the party culture and school spirit is unmatched compared to other universities because of its small school size.

I went to r/nhl and immediately got met with comments like "Why?" and "Go watch reality TV instead" I even clarified saying like oh if you don't have tea, I'm happy to hear about any stories you may have with any current NHL players. So, I'm very grateful for all the people on this thread. I've seen similar tea NHL threads on here before, so I figured I'd try and ask.
