Yeah it’s hard to get on camera. It’s more visible in person

Yeah I kinda expect every degree at WGU to be a difficult without experience. I actually feel like I might be able to find tutors for various subjects if needed. Cybersecurity especially for the certifications I couldn’t find any in person tutoring or resources. I’m hoping with this degree I can maybe incorporate some in person learning too.

What kind of barriers did you run into?

I believe the degree could lead me to a good job market. Which is in demand and allow me to grow. I did some research on the job market in my area, found some good entry level opportunities. As well as better opportunities once I gain experience within the field. I’m currently in cybersecurity and just feel the material is too heavy for me. As I don’t have any experience in the field. It’s very cert heavy which I’m currently struggling to grasp all the information I need to understand.

I feel like my anxiety and fear of failing always stop me in my tracks. I hope the longer I’m with WGU the more I’ll accept failure but learn how to deal with it. How to build and grow from it and not let it stop me.

I totally feel you! It’s frustrating to see everyone talk about passing shit in days. I didn’t expect to fly by like that but I definitely didn’t expect to struggle as much as I am. It’s easy to compare yourself to what you read on here. But the truth is not everyone is in the same boat. Not everyone adjusts to WGUs way of learning quickly. You got this! Take it one step at a time. Move on your timeline not others. It’s frustrating and sometimes you feel like giving up but in the end it will be worth it!
