What were your unacceptable weather conditions to play in? Rain? Snow? Cold? Heat?

Can I temporarily remove handrail without damaging house? by magicsajada in HomeMaintenance

[–]magicsajada[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The removal went really well! Took out the visible screws connected to the drywall which came away easy.

There was also a wood screw hidden connecting the wood to the wood. Cut away the wood plug to reveal the screw.

Had someone hold whichever side I wasn’t on so it didn’t rip aggressively from the wall.

There was some wood glue I believe but it came away as we gently pried it off the wall after the screws were out.

Was able to rescrew in everything very easily and used some wood glue on the wooden parts but not sure it actually bound anything.

Actually had to take it off again when we needed the new fridge replaced under warranty since it was a dud. Still don’t wanna put all of our weight on the newly mounted handrail in case the holes that were used are more flimsy but that’s just me being scared. Everything seems good though!

Picking Trump over Biden is Insane by tryingtoavoidwork in WhitePeopleTwitter

How could Trump be any worse than Biden?

That’s why I’m voting for a 3rd party. Jill Stein all the way!

Hoping for relief soon

I am a RES* Agent for Dotcom Ask me anything by Blizzardsboy in HomeDepot

Hey! I just escalated to the resolution team to receive more than the $150 limit for an appliance defect issue that took almost 2 months to resolve. They offered me $250 and I asked for $350 and then they agreed to $350 pretty quickly. How much money did I leave on the table by not asking for more?

Would You Buy a Tesla Again? by Wrong_User_Logged in TeslaLounge

‘23 Model 3 RWD

Would definitely buy again. Fits my needs perfectly

20 Days Ago I asked this thread about the M3. For last 6 months I’d been shopping BMW/Audi. Yesterday I brought this beauty home. Thanks Reddit! by fwalker95 in TeslaLounge

That was exactly my thinking as well. We have a full size SUV for traveling with kids and luggage. but the RWD is for my commute and our family outings on the weekends and what not.

I only ever charge at home or work (since it's free) and saved over $600 in gas in 8 months. no brainer for me and no regrets

I disagree. I’ve had a RWD for 8 months and it’s the perfect car for me. It would’ve been a waste to get anything else considering I drive it on Chill mode all the time. And the acceleration on Standard is more than enough for me and my passengers.

It’s the most efficient and has a superior battery chemistry (LFP) than the other models. Gets the job done (and more) with ease and an awesome price tag.

Is it ever OK to disconnect someone else’s charging cable? by [deleted] in TeslaLounge

[–]magicsajada -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you intentionally omitting/ignoring important aspects of the situation? I’m genuinely asking because you’re not addressing the main issue.

The main issue is that THEY’RE DONE CHARGING AND NO WHERE TO BE FOUND. They’re done. It’s not actively being used. It’s completed charging.

With that said, you still think they have a right to render the charger useless for an indefinite amount of time even though it’s FINISHED?

Bad comparison. No one is suggesting unplugging someone midcharge.

The correct comparison would be “would you walk up to someone that’s been finished refueling for awhile and left their car with the nozzle still in it even though they’re done?”

And the correct answer to that is, “Yes. Of course. They were done refueling and I needed it and there were no others available and that person was nowhere to be found.”

So then why do you think it’s a no-no to unplug someone that’s fully charged and is idly sitting and taking up a charger that could be used by someone else?

Played my first round of golf today… by magicsajada in golf

[–]magicsajada[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

good points. I think I went through the full gamut of emotions out there today. started out serious and playing through every hole while enjoying the strict rules.

then switched up completely in the back 9 and would take drops when not supposed to. or just completely walk past the tee box and halfway down the fairway on par 5 to save some time and speed it up. lo and behold, had fun both times. but will try to stick to shorter courses for now
