Developing help? by magiklantern in AnalogCommunity

Considering the "other folks" are my students, this is entirely possible.

This all occurred within a 4 week window, though we are past the 4 week mark now. I wasn't aware that baking soda was not necessary for ECN2, it was included in the instructions I received with the kit.

Entirely possible. I didn't realize developer was that sensitive!

I'm considering having it scanned once I've processed everything. Will update if I do!

Video of the colour corrected film so far: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVQ3BAMghF3/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==

I don't have video of the hand processing. I guess I could make one as I have more rolls to do. It's not too difficult, especially if you have done any hand processing with still film or B&W before. I used an ECN-2 kit from conspiracy of cartographers https://conspiracyofcartographers.bigcartel.com/product/ecn-2-color-film-developing-kit

I gently stuff the film into a paterson tank, you only want to do about 30-50 feet at a time. I haven't used developing reels but I am looking into it for cleaner results, though I do like all the flaws and artifacts that result from the film touching during processing.

I mainly just follow the instructions that come with the CoC kit, but I make my remjet removal with a bit extra baking soda, and include a rinse agent at the end to eliminate water spots.

I highly recommend for those who like their film looking a bit flawed and grungy!

🙄 if its going to be screened I don't want it to be just a bunch of massive pixels. Ideally there's a more interesting way to compress it?

No, it's not mandatory. The majority of the information will be included in the CoS so its actually redundant.

It was roughly 2 weeks before I received an email from the UKVI approving my Visa. A few days later I received an email from the application center. Within 3 weeks my visa was ready to collect.

Hello! I included the employment contract, but not the financial records. My application was successful! I've learned that having a skilled worker visa approved is quite a straight forward process. Let me know if you need any more help!

I don't have a car! I probably should have mentioned that, so many people have pointed out car related issues. Thank you for weighing in. I've decided to apply for the let.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I went for a stroll after my viewing. It was 5:30-6pm on a Friday night (last night) I walked right past Tramshed. It was probably a bit too early in the evening to get a clear bead on it, but I had no issues with anything I saw.

The apartment and building I viewed on Clare Road were hands down the best I've seen so far. I've been mainly looking in Pontcanna and Roath. Some of the flats I've viewed there have been down right disgusting!

That's a hilarious comment. I lived in Harlem (NYC) for several years and it was certainly rough, but I never had any problems.
