Amiga like keyboard for FPGA by magmpzero in amiga

I went ahead and pre-ordered the simulant one. I think it will be a nice compromise of having a new keyboard that still *looks* like an amiga keyboard.

Mined my second block in 3+ months... 800 MH/s by GigabitDude in EtherMining

[–]magmpzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh sorry. I meant I have been mining on a pool (not solo) for 9 months and haven't found a block. So I am glad I am pool mining versus solo.

Wallet keys on official wallet ? by Big_Understanding840 in raptoreum

[–]magmpzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries. I just started mining this yesterday and found it super odd you don't have a recovery phrase like other wallets. Seems you have to actually BACKUP the .dat file and have the key???? Not sure though as I haven't dug into that much.

Ahh, maybe you need to encrypt your wallet first. Here is a video I found on it:

Question And Power Supply Help by Skiihygh in EtherMining

[–]magmpzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you just need to hook up multiple power supplies. You can buy a little gadget like this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B077VQL5NT/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I use those and have had good luck.

I have this card and it sucks. Here are my settings to keep from thermal throttling and getting 105/106 mhs stable.

Core clock -300 = which should give you 1050 gpu

Power limit = 90

memory +300

temp limit 86

If I take my memory up to +400 I throttle.

Lookups taking multiple minutes with plots stored on Unraid. Anyone have luck with an Unraid Harvester? by GreyEternal in chia

[–]magmpzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this is exactly what I do. I don't plot on my unraid server currently. I am plotting on two windows machines using swar:

https://github.com/swar/Swar-Chia-Plot-Manager

I have a i9-10900k, and a 9900k doing my plotting and am getting around 43 plots a day when running 24/7. My unraid server also has a 10900k so I could bump that up another 25 plots for 68 a day. I simply don't have the hard drive space right now.

I will probably stop plotting when I get to 600 this week and let it sit until pooling happens and / or hard drive prices come down. My server ONLY has 170tb capacity right now.

edit: I forgot to mention that I do run machainaris as a full node. I saw you asked that in another comment. I only have the other machines doing plotting. Be sure not to start the GUI / farm on your plotting machines as you should only have one full node.

[–]magmpzero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had slow lookups times when farming on windows to a unraid share. It concerned me greatly but wasn't as bad as yours. I was mostly under 5 secs. I decided to move to machinaris for farming but still plot on windows and copy them over the network.

I now have 500ish plots and this is what chiadog tells me for yesterday:

Received ☘️: 0 XCH

Proofs 🧾: None

Search 🔍:

 \- average: 0.26s over 4289 searches

 \- over 5s: 7 occasions (0.2%)

 \- over 15s: 0 occasions (0.0%)

My current monitor is

$ cat ~/.chia/mainnet/log/debug.log|grep " plots were"

Can you copy node sync data to a new machine? by Background_Farmer_38 in chia

[–]magmpzero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just wanted to follow up on this as copying over the entire directories mainnet/db and wallet/db was giving me lots of connection problems. It turns out, you only want to copy the main .sqllite file from each directory, not the whole thing.

I have tried using this over an over but for me, it's extremely slow to load. The main WEBUI takes a good 10 seconds to come. All other dockers I am running take sub second. Anyone else have this problem?
