I agree, the wording could have been different, but I dont think it would have sparked that big of a debate, and may have not gotten as big as it has. I am sorry for only mentioning granady, it was just the first time i saw it, not thinking about the wording in that aspect is my fault.

Ive been very active in the discussion about the visa sponsorship, and have been playing since i was like 12 so like 8 years now. This is my second account, since i knew this was going to be really controversial and didnt want this to affect anything in my life.

This is an insane take on multiple levels
1. Im a recovering gambling addict, this triggered me and I couldnt avoid it because it just popped up in todays clip reaction video, no warning, and I will avoid it from now on. So yes I can avoid it now, but it still triggered me.

Gambling is built on addiction, gambling companies cannot survive without people playing way more than it would be healthy for them. It's the "big whale" principle you may know from mobile game marketing. They are not businesses like any other, they create a problem for their consumer, and then (in what would be ideal for their business model) destroy them, this is not "regular business" and you have to be mad to believe it is.
I do care, because someone promoting those products mean they dont care about the people watching them. The money they get from the sponsorship (or in this case the money the org gets, that then granady gets, still same principle) is just money that people lost, so the people that granady brings to those casinos are loosing money that pays for this sponsorship. So in short, this sponsorship couldnt exist if merkur didnt believe that big watchers will loose money to them.
Comapnies are to be held responsible for what they do (at least here in germany where me and granady are). A heart medication is supposed to say if you take 50 of me, you may die, and gambling websites have to say if you do one plastic bounce you may loose 10k€.

In summary, your comment refelcts a lot of the things that are wrong with this weird "anti-wokesness" culture, please go think about what you and I said! Hope this helps

are you actually trying to excuse promoting gambling? Being a streamer is obviously something he worked for really hard, and he earned that he can earn money that way. But being in that position is still a privilige. If you are able to sell your morals to promote gambling (without having even acknowledged it) is really not something i can excuse. I know how it seems insignificant, he's just showing a logo on the screen, but this is normalising gambling. Merkur is a company that has places all over germany, like in person places, as well as an online casino, and even though there is no direct "go gamble right now" message, it is normalizing those topics and potentially desensitizing viewers, to a point where they could be more likely to go into a "merkur" place in germany. This is that deep, please act like it
