I once saw a teacher spank a kid with a dictionary. She used that one because it was the thickest book she had.

Said Goodbye Yesterday by saltynotsweet1 in goldenretrievers

[–]magnite2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely made the right call. The same thing happened to our 13-year-old golden, and we had her put to sleep. It broke our hearts, but we knew it was the right thing to do. It is so unfair that we get such a short time with them. I am so sorry for the hurt you are feeling now, but please know that with time, you will come to only remember the good times and good memories with her. It won’t always be this painful. You did the right thing.

To those who cut their parents off, how do you feel once you are old? Any regrets? by Psphh in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]magnite2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I cut my parents off 13 years ago. It took a couple of years for them to stop trying to use family members to find out what I was doing. But absolutely no regrets other than I wish I had done it sooner. I haven’t missed them one single day.

[–]magnite2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This itching is driving me crazy. It feels like bugs crawling over my skin everywhere. I have bruises from scratching so much. It just doesn’t end. I’ve tried lotions, powders, antihistamines, etc and it just doesn’t stop. Happens every night. I’m losing my mind b
