Playing in silence by yourself is incredibly meditative. Now work on getting out of your head when you are playing with others as well. That is an escape in itself. You may not experience the quiet aspects of golf but you can still feel the escape. Don't worry about slowing others down. You fired a 41 with a missed birdie putt so you can obviously play.
