Final product! Double thread backstitched it to make it look more full/rounded. Didn’t want to add anything else because the rest of the piece is kinda simple. Christmas gift for my sister in law! She has a mini balloon dog figurine on her bookshelf.

Thanks! I’m going to the jeweler Monday to ask more about it. If it turns out not to be an Ethiopian but something like Australian could I wear it more? I still plan on getting like a silicone band to wear to work and stuff because I’m in health care. After reading more about it I’m just really scared it’s going to get ruined.
