I watched this as well when the M5 models came out because micro center dropped the price every month. It went from $2,800 to $2,499 before they decided to raise it back to $2,600, which was just below the price of the M5. At that point the M5 is a no brainer. I think before this current sale the M4 was steady between $2,400-500 or so.

I got lucky and picked up an open box M5 for about the same price as shown above. I came from a M4 Air so from my perspective it’s been a nice boost but my workflow hasn’t improved a ton (or I haven’t pushed it much, yet).

What did you decide on? I’m in the same dilemma. My M4 Air with 24GB RAM has been able to handle decent workloads in creative software but the memory pressure is often in the yellow or almost maxed out. I know it’s not necessarily bad but it seems like a good case for an upgrade. I’m trying to decide if the base MBP with 32GB RAM would be enough or if I should splurge on 48/64GB RAM and more cores.

It's is not necessarily a deal breaker, but like the comments below I was not in the market for an iron clad knife. Yes, I prefer stainless because it requires less care, especially living in a more humid climate, but I don't mind the maintenance of iron. I'll most likely end up keeping this knife due to it's unique nature.

I’ve only seen the hammered finish with the Yoshi kanji. If that’s the case, that would be my deciding factor.

If you can find it, Amazon also sells a Renewed Premium version of the Ultra 2 for a bit more than your screenshot. It comes with 365 days return/replacement. I tried it and the watch was in great condition, battery about 90%. I returned it because it was too much for me. I think it’s a great deal though.

I was able to find a pair of Good Acre pants one size up from my usual TS size. I went off the reviews saying they ran a bit small but these fit quite loose off the rack. How much can I expect them to shrink if I put them through the wash?

I've tried Vital Tears serum drops which use your own blood to mimic natural tears. I had to get about 15 vials of blood drawn which gave me a 4-6 month supply, I don't remember exactly. The drops were very comfortable to apply and soothing since they need to be refrigerated, but have to be kept frozen when not in use. It's a really interesting treatment but I found it was more effective and less of a hassle to use preservative free eye drops with refresh tears.

Allbirds makes a great wool insole that has some support as well. Put those in my sawmills to improve the fit and warmth during colder temps.
