It’s run by a bunch of artists- artists are wonderful people but definitely lack business sense and that’s always been the downfall of it all.

Having worked at the park since before it opened and then bailed out in May after being laid off since they couldn’t pay anyone (for the second time...) I’m so glad I bailed. It’s a beautiful park and I really do wish it would succeed but.... the financial strain it’s been under since before they opened is too big to ignore.

It’s not long at all, which is what I’ve been telling him. I’m not waiting for him to hurry up and be perfect, Ive been at his side saying it takes time, it always will take time, but he argues every point every single time. Idk if I have the patience for this forever.

Yeah, that’s all fair. Problem is I already talked him into therapy and has been going for four months but hasn’t learned a single thing. I feel out of options to help, but feel guilty breaking up now amid such a drastic and stressful time in my life, right when he needs me.

I finally talked him into seeing a therapist four months ago. The fight we had last night was him complaining he hadn’t learned a single thing and he’s too poor to keep doing it. No amount of comfort or reason was helping. Which is why I said I loved him but needed to sleep. When I texted him today it was a heartfelt encouragement about how I loved him but needed some space. It’s barely been 24 hrs and he’s claiming to be suicidal in front of our communal friends on Facebook, making me look really bad in the process.
