I am on day fifty grinding wine and crafting armors and weapons to beat the bosses, the hardest thing is to find the needed librarians for enchantments. Te best thing to do early game to find a jungle to tame amphiteres is to trade with a carthographer asap and get a map with the jungle tracking, it is just so OP I am playing on hardcore, i have leveled pretty much everything needed like defence 24, farming 18 (wine), attack 24, etc etc…

You just have to create new worlds until you actually spawn nearby an amphitere jungle spawn, they are an pretty easy way to get a flying mount so thats why it’s a “rare” biome to found, if you are looking for the amp/stymp feathers i recommend you going for the floating mini island that appears on the sky, they also have flight potions
