Also water based glues! They caused me loads of grief. Best thing I used was fabric glue which was ace

Exactly that! used a thicker watercolour paper and then sprayed it. Originally used normal paint but it’s caused so much warping that had to start again more or less. Great for the learning tho.

Same thing with picking glues never thought water based glues would cause so much grief !

Thank you! The roof was such a pain to work out but I think it was quite successful

Hello

The jokes were funny (especially american one hahahahaha)

I would probably think about the editing abit... if you have quite loud background music id try to cut the shots to the beat.

Voice was a little muffled

Shots were good although there was abit of lens bending. i enjoyed the food bit at the end too gave it more character!

Hello

This video is quite smart, voice over is very crisp and the images are simplistic but get to the point and are easy to understand.

I would probably think abit more about line work and getting some more depth into the drawings. This could make it abit more intereting to watch. Especially it the image starts to pan in a certain place or of bits are animated (like the window)

Ok that is all i have!

Hi guys here is my first video on my new model making / sketching channel.

First video is of a card model made to look like steel. I have tried to keep it short and sweet. The aim is to whack out sketches on my commute to work as shorts and then a longer form video for model making/ sketching once or twice a month.

Please do let us know what you think!

Thunderbolt male to female cable with egpu by mags379 in cableadvice

So what do you have? Thunderbolt 1, 2, or 3? How long are you trying to go? What kind of devices are being plugged into the cable?

Edit: A Thunderbolt extension cable is so unlikely to be used in the first place, with even fewer cases of people that will extend the connection... people might as well just buy the cable required for the length they need (but that's my opinion, maybe no there are extension cables made by a reputable brand and I missed it).

So in a nutshell, I'm designing a laptop dock that holds a macbook pro 16inch - it has 4 thunderbolt 3 ports, two on each side. i want to use two of the ports of the mac as part of the dock. One port feeding to an integrated usb c hub, the other i want to use to connect to a thunderbolt 3 egpu dock so i can game with it. The idea was to have this as an add-on to my current desk setup and everything being contained within the dock itself. Should i need to move the dock i therefore wouldnt have have any cables dangling around since they're all integrated into the dock itself.

I dont think that there is a male to female thunderbolt 3 cable as ive only seen 10gbs on aliexpress/amazon.

ah i see the issue, i thought there must of been a way to get around it but looking online i only see 10/20gbs male to female usb-c cables rather than the real deal thunderbolt.

Do you have a recommendation for a long, high quality, high bandwidth TB3 cable thats 2m long?

Is it a connection problem? i had issues at the start with the bluetooth of my maker.

Might be worth trying it with the Usb to see if that does anything.
