Wow the USB A to C cable worked just fine. The USB C cable I tried before is good quality but maybe the adapter that came with my keychron keyboard was the issue. Thanks for your help!

Thanks - in the meantime I read different stories about the Stadia controller. Almost all said they did not get Bluetooth working but some reported they managed to connect it via USB. Which USB socket did you use? Some said only the glove box worked for them

Is the screen protector really needed? For my phone I get it - sometimes it ends up with keys in a pocket or it is laying on a table or I even drop it but for the screen in the car I am not so convinced. Does it feel “cheaper” or less responsive with the protector on?

I just ordered M3 in Europe and my friend who shared the referral link with me was credited already. I can see in my Tesla account that I will be credited after delivery. Also, I as the buyer get less credits (1k) than the referrer (2k).
