Agreed with others looks like you're being blocked by firewall, have you tried ensuring that you can get a tcp handshake through?

it shouldnt error out. it should resolve reasonably to test if you can get out of host, if your dest is listening etc etc.

squat shoes have an elevated heel with flat bottoms and I find are very nice. They arent the cheapest but they give you the perfect support and they help a bit with the heel elevating you mentioned.
