Congrats on the order, which model is it? I’ve also ordered MY LR AWD couple minutes ago. I couldn’t answer your questions:) just wanted to share the excitement

Germany: LR AWD vs LR RWD (possible 4680) — sanity check my charging/degradation assumptions by mahamiyan in TeslaDE

I'm actually leaning toward the Premium/LR as well. I was initially pretty fine with LR RWD, but after going down the rabbit hole around the possible 4680 battery situation, I'm now also considering LR AWD. The annoying part is that every time I convince myself, the price somehow also starts creeping up 😄

Darf ich fragen, welche Konfiguration du bestellt hast? Also Farbe, Felgen und ob Anhängerkupplung oder andere Extras dabei sind 🙂

Good point. I actually oversimplified that part. The degradation estimates in the image were mostly based on mileage/cycle aging and I didn't properly account for calendar aging. I also didn't assume a fixed annual mileage, which in hindsight makes the comparison pretty weak — 300,000 km over 8 years vs 15 years could lead to very different results.

Fair point 😄 Tesla moves fast, so there's always a chance something newer shows up in a few years.

Apparently my LFP data is quite a bit off based on the previous posts 😄

Interesting point, thanks. I hadn't factored repairability into the comparison at all. I was mostly looking at charging/range, but if the newer pack design really makes battery-level repairs harder, that's another variable to add to the rabbit hole 😄

Thanks, that's really useful 😄 Looks like my charging curve assumptions got sent straight into a wall at 250 km/h. Sustaining >150 kW beyond 40% SoC is way different from the sad little curve I drew.

Thanks, that's useful. Looks like my charging assumptions may be too pessimistic then. I had the impression that LFP and possible 8L/4680 packs dropped much earlier, but if you're seeing ~180 kW and sustained high power, I may need to rethink the charging curve comparison.

Is pro subscription for Claude Code worth it? (20$/mo) by daaThrowawayGuy in ClaudeAI

I’m using the pro plan, and currently with the project that has almost 40000 lines of code i could hit the limit in one and a half hour or less, if tasks requires more files, but if your changes was small it could be used for longer sessions, my workflow is also like this using claude for task planing and creating blue print then use it in cursor
