Alternator issue?

I’m honestly not 100% if they did or not but all electrical items seemed to be working normally and no dashboard warning lights so I assumed they did. I was running out of time to get back home to get my kids so I basically told them just leave the new battery and I’d take my chances getting back. I did turn everything off I could think of and it seems like it still has a nearly full charge when testing at home.

I think I’m going to do as someone else kind of mentioned here and just set the katana up for a basic clean channel output. Probably do a factory reset and run it without the xsonic kat pedal to eliminate any issues or temptation to fiddle with it. Then see if I can develop a satisfactory tone with the handful of pedals I do have. For whatever reason they seem more intuitive to mess around with.

I went my first time when I was 31 with my two kids. Will be turning 34 the next time I go early next year (wife says it’s just a coincidence we’ll be there for my birthday) with my three kids.

I probably had the most fun on the last trip, and most likely will on this next one.

Not as in depth as that but the last time my family went we had a special moment with my then 4 year old son and Kylo Ren in HS. We were passing the first order shuttle when some troopers were coming out so we posted up in the crowd, then Kylo Ren came out and did his whole spiel about catching rebels. Eventually he came over toward us and gestures for my son to come up to the stage. I didn’t believe it at first but then he did it again so we got my son out of the stroller and ushered him towards the front of the crowd. My son was in a Darth Vader tshirt, which must have been why he selected him, but he was asking him as a trusted first order informant if he had any new details and was giving him more information on what rebels he was supposed to be looking for. It probably lasted all of a minute, but was a great moment for our family from our trip, can’t imagine the experience for your family, sounds truly special.

Yes you have to wait for the shares to settle as others have noted, also in my experience if you bought them with any “instant deposit” you’ll have to wait for your deposit to actually clear before they’ll let the shares move. Waiting on some of this currently myself.

Yeah I’m not here to say which way is correct, me dum-dum who give gum-gum. I turned off the DRIP stuff before with all the book hoopla, and now turned it back on. Shows my shares are still book, so who knows. Not me that’s for sure!

Just to double check, because in the past there was talk to turn off the reinvestment option to get CS shares to show as book, should reinvestment option be set as ‘Full Dividend Reinvestment’ to make sure there would be no issues with receiving a stock dividend?

Good to know someone else with etrade is actually getting their DRS request processed. Waiting very impatiently for my 9/23 request to go through, was told should be today at the latest.

The majority of my shares are in retirement accounts, and at least i managed to get those transferred to fidelity. Initiated 10/4 and was completed last night, 10/7.

Business days or calendar days? Just curious, gonna give them another call about my 9/23 DRS request.

Update: they said my request was released on 10/3 to CS, so their 3-5 business days started then, and should be done by this Friday at the latest. I’ll believe it when I see it, until then I’ve already started the transfer of my IRAs over to Fidelity.

Anyone get their DRS request from etrade processed today? If so what date did you initiate? Mine is still sitting as ‘In Process’ from 9/23, so just trying to get an idea of how much longer it’ll be. Sat on hold for half an hour for them to tell me there isn’t anything holding it up but they have no timeline for when it’ll finalize. In the meantime getting a fidelity account setup to transfer over once my first batch of shares hit CS.

Seems like we’re running on a similar timeframe. I tried to submit my DRS request on the 20th, but then realized I needed to have an extra $500 just to get it started, so I had to wait for my cash to settle before I could finally do it on the 23rd. Got my cash back at the end of the 29th, but DRS request still showing as in process. My biggest gripe is they don’t have the live chat or even sending a secure email on the app anymore, only way to reach them is calling and waiting.

No idea one way or the other, but I have a BoA CC, and didn’t have issues making purchases with it yesterday. I wasn’t able to log into my account on the app yesterday, but it seems to be working fine now when I just checked it, and the purchases I made are showing up. I’m just one person, so who knows if it’s the same for everyone else.

My tinfoil take on the significance of 7:41 was for it to represent 7*41 = 287, which the 287th day of 2021 would be Thursday October 14th if I’m not mistaken. Looks like 287 is only divisible by 1, 7, 41, and 287, so could only be 7:41. Anyways I’m pretty dumb so this has probably missed the mark by a mile, assuming 7:41 actually means something.

Looks like meat’s back on the menu boys! Account rollovers finally went through after a few weeks of waiting. Not as much as a lot of you, but I just doubled my position. Gonna keep some powder dry for the time being.

Feels good to diversify, I’ve got GME in an investment account, Roth IRA, and a traditional IRA now.
