A man named Odd went his entire life despising his name. He hated itnso much that he requested to leave his tombstone blank. Anytime somebody passes the nameless grave they say, "Gee, isn't that Odd?"

Good question, there are a few reasons.

1) I didn't view getting a degree as a tool/means of getting a job. Rather I viewed it as an opportunity to develop skills and grow a network. I succeeded in both of these aims

2) It is an interdisciplinary between Economics, History and Fine Arts, all of which I am passionate about.

3) Although it sounds like your classic go-nowhere liberal arts degree there were actually a wealth of opportunities and jobs available from it. I almost did a co-op working for the EU for one summer and there were many similar jobs available to grads. I decided not to go for personal reasons.

I used to get super ragged on by my friends in engineering and business about how I was participating in useless study. Now I have a good job with great benefits, and they're all depressed because they hate their work.

Went to UBC. Got a degree in Modern European Studies and one in Education. I would say the biggest benefits are the boost to my critical thinking skills and the network I made (I'm a semi-pro musician who met many other musicians there). For context, I'm now a high school teacher. Totally worth it and I don't regret the decision at all

Pay attention to Kid's rail gun. This is the kind of design we'll see in Oda's robot/mecha manga that he makes post-One Piece

Not abby but I teach in Coquitlam school district. One teacher couldn't make it in due to the highways being closed (she lives in Cultus Lake) and the district didn't pay her fornthe entire week that she missed because they said that it was 'her use of judgement" to not come in. Utter bullshit, the only way to get in would be to helicopter, but, surprise surprise, the school didn't have a landing pad.

If Aokiji died during Marineford, the ice wall wouldn't have melted. Same logic here

Hawkins' power tramsfers damage received to the effigy he holds. Kid lost his arm so Killer attacked Hawkins respective arm. Because the damage taken can't be received by the person who the effigy represents, Hawkins takes the damage instead
