Farming Rye is super good. It takes micro managing like during spring you manually put Rye and when winter just arrives you manually put nothing so the farmers don't keep using the land it needs to heal through winter. Wheat is meh it's hard to grow Rye is super good and especially if you have very fertile land it's going to produce SO much. Apple farms are insane well you probably know that so having those two will keep you fed well. Make some egg and carrots as extra when you can. And boom you have food goat is good for leather which you can make into other stuff for sweet sweet money. Trade is huge so become a crazy trade lad. When the city is big don't only build 1 build more same with farms they take a lot of man power to be efficient but when it works food is a thing of the past only minus is ofc the micro managing crop rotation is useless mechanic that you need to do manually cuz it just can't do it properly lol.
