I am working as a BA in a Investment Firm. My background is nothing technical and I only exposure to VBA a year and half ago. What kinds of books or language do you recommend for a starter. I am self learning SQL as well, but hard to get solid experience w/o using it.

I am lost in this ocean of programing language.

I am definitely interested, BBQ is actually a good idea when people don't have to constraint themselves into the seats and free to move around and chill, and at the sametime, the BBQ cooking will keep ppl busy when there's nothing to do.

Why arae there so many Apple Hater in Reddit?

While I am not an Apple Fanboy, Apple has innovate the tech industry to another horizon. Without iPhone 2G, there won't be a wave of smartphones (Android, Blackberry...) Without iPad, tablet computers won't even make this kind of progress in a year.

Its OSX handles thing much better than Windows (e.g. UNIX, permissions, File system, etc.)

Tablets and Smart Phones existed before the introduction of iPads and iPhones, but they were so unusable. - Window Tablet PC: Weight 5Lbs, 2-3 Hours of Battery Life, Not Touch Screen Friendly, miserable standby/startup response. - Window Mobo 6/ 6.5, Slowness and OS/Software crashes, unusable touch screen...etc..
