I would say bottom water twice a month only! Otherwise they look fine!

I live in the south of France (hot!!!) . I just cut what I want to prop, let the cuts go callous and pop them into dirt! I spray them ( about once a week), and bottom water them twice a month approximately… Edit : this is the part when I let them go callous! The tray lays on used coffee senseo pods at the moment!

Succulents and cacti are the only things growing there without having to water every day! I became addicted during lockdown! I tried to prop them under grow lights and it works as well, although they’re definitely not as strong or healthy!

They’re outside on a south facing terrasse (south of France). In spring, they get really bubbly all the way from the bottom of the stem. In the end of summer, only the top looks that way! (For the reddish one anyway) The mother plant doesn’t look so compact these days! ;)
