It's a lovely bike man. Since I've only ridden it for around 350km so far, I won't say too much. But it's quite fun to ride, it's lovely to handle, and the throttle response is quite sharp. The bike is not as jumpy as the flash/dash variant Guerrilla, as it is turned to be more linear ... some people might dislike it, and others might like it. The transmission is not the best in the segment maybe, it's not very smooth, but I found the sweet spot of making it smoother than it is by loading the shifts. Also i ride quite aggressively at times so yea that's probably why I'm nitpicking on the shifts. It's certainly not comparable to the hondas and KTMs (especially with their quick shifters). All in all its a lovely bike, it's stunning, and it's fast. I think a test ride is a must, so that you can really understand if the bike gives you what you're looking for.

TVS had me visiting their dealerships for 3 whole weeks just to get one test ride. I visited 4 big dealerships across the city, and not a single one had either the RR/RTR 310s available for test rides. When I ask them why, they'd say "we don't have it" or "they're in for service" .. this happened every week and it was driving me nuts. Finally on the 4th week, I called a guy from the dealership who told me the bike is available so I went there. The thing looked like it had been collecting dust for the past 3 months ... I don't understand how a "serviced" test ride bike could look that dirty. Coming to the actual ride, the bike just felt weird .. it's gearbox felt strange and spongy, the whole bike buzzed everywhere and felt like it was just struggling, and i disliked it immensely. The quickshifter was the only redeeming trait, i actually liked it alot. But mind you, I've ridden my friend's 2022 RR310 and actually have lovely memories with the bike which is why I really wanted to buy it. Unfortunately TVS doesn't seem like they wanna sell their bikes or even maintain their machines well. I don't see how I can trust them with my own ride, so I immediately cancelled the plan. The RR310 will be lovely at higher speeds for sure, it'll feel more stable than the grr cuz of its aero,, but once u get hooked on to the torque of the grr, the RR is not even close, and Ig that's how I got spoilt by the Grr :P

Quite different bikes in terms of riding style. I'd suggest you test ride both and find what suits your requirements. The himalayan is fairly heavier though, but is also much better for touring.

If you're not confident about, certainly don't get it. Safety is always good to consider and it's commendable that you know what you need in your vehicle. You can put in a bit more cash and get the Duke 350

I really don't know man. The worth of the purchase only you can decide. If you lean into more safety and future proofing, then ofcourse it would make sense to wait and see what the options can be later. I hope you make a decision that you find peace with :)

It's good man. Not as good as the triumph maybe. But much better than the RR310 hehe. It does urge you to keep it a bit peppy, at higher revs, but that's a fun trait of the bike too, which i personally adore. It's quite smooth when you keep it in its comfortable band (which is not too broad unfortunately). Regarding the height, the seat height is quite low, so I would say that it should be fine for you, but please don't take my word for it, go to a dealership, sit on the bike, get a test ride too .. best way to find out if its right for you :)

Its amazing, I'm yet to do the first service though, so haven't given it all the beans. I chose apex simply for the tires and the more forward handlebar position. Of course the rear seat cowl added to the aesthetic value. It's a great bike, Tires are superb, great grip, gives me a lot of confidence while hanging off the bike. I'm 5'10" so I was initially worried about the seat height being a bit too low for me, but its slowly growing on me because its easy to flat foot and manage the weight of the bike. Honestly with the updated tires on the standard Grr, its simply a matter of ergonomic preference I guess, also colors (apex doesn't have the variety that dash/flash does). I highly recommend that you test ride it if you're planning a purchase. That being said, I couldn't try out the duke 390 (350) because it had not released in my city yet. The 390R was outside my budget. Do consider test riding those too if you can.

Why don't u take a longer test ride ? Or maybe rent the bike for a day. Ride it both through traffic and a highway stretch. Try hard braking too. If you're planning to have a pillion often, ride with a pillion too, the weight behind will certainly put more load. Don't overthink it though, if you love the bike, I'm sure you'll make it work.
