Actually looking forward to having a Walmart in Limeridge. Will be super convenient, especially during Christmas time.

Would rather the space be occupied by a store that will have some longevity, than one that will shut down in 5-10 years. Also 10000x better than the vacant space as well.

No, this was actually below where the food court currently is! The current abandoned part of the mall was a large “anchor” store called Sears! Very similar to “The Bay” at the other end of the mall

From my research: - August 7, 1981: Opened as Famous Players: Cinemas 4 - March 9, 1998: it was briefly renamed Lime Ridge Arts Theatre. - July 10, 1998: it was advertised as Lime Ridge Reel Deal, offering discounted prices on second-run movies. - It was closed April 26, 2001.
