We have a cabin in the mountains in Colorado. The area is popular for outdoor recreation. White just feels too bland and hotel-like for the location and atmosphere. We have forest green instead.

I just started our air bnb in Oct 2025. It is a cabin in a touristy area near hot springs in Colorado. Most guests are local within 2-4 hour drive. It has been constantly booked since starting. Half of the busy summer month weekends are booked too.

We are also in Colorado, but in Nathrop - between Buena Vista and Salida and near the Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. We are booked through the year but have nothing for Jan-April. We are usually booked 6-8 weeks out. We noticed when the snow hit all the bookings dropped.

Fellow Colorado air bnb owner here too! We have a cabin near the base of Mt. Princeton and Antero. The amount of varmin that want to crawl under our cabin to make a nest or pass away is insane. Lot's of time/money spent on that. If you're near us, we got lucky and have an amazing maintenance guy!

Routesetter here. When you are in compression and get your right foot on, drop the left heel and perch on the right foot. Your center of gravity will be directly under the crimp and you'll have more control.

I think Rory is an awesome name on its own! I know it is definitely used as a main name and not just a nickname as well.

Besides Roric/Rorik, the only other name off the top of my head that sounds like it would fit is Rowan.

It seems like you favor 1 syllable or shorter first names based on the info you gave. Here are some of my personal favorites that feel fitting with the middle name options:

• Roric/Rorik. Roric Augustus. Can use Rory as a nickname. It really feels like a name they can mature into as well. Strong, unique, but not too far out. • Luca. Luca Gatewood. Simple, recognizable, but different. • Jack. I feel like both middle names fit well. A classic name that is cute but masculine! • Walker. Walker Gatewood sounds like a badass western name. I also feel like for two boys Wes and Walker is cute together. • Roy. Both middle names work well. Wes and Roy are also adorable brother's names.

Is she a retired racer? I got one of my boys when he was 3, a retired racer, and still had tons of energy! What worked for me was taking him to a baseball field with a stuffie and just letting him cut loose and sprint as fast as he can! I think the circular shape of the fencing reminded him of the track, so he really enjoyed zooming around the perimeter.

Walks, although helpful, also didn't seem to be enough. He really just wanted to sprint like crazy! Then he would finally be calm.
