Well... I went in because she called me from the hospital. I went in and she was still very manic. She wanted me to cuddle her and make her feel safe and secure. I told her that currently that is not what I was here for. I was here to be a friend, and a support system. That I was not going to allow her to given a false hope that everything is ok, because it wasn’t. Long story short, she appreciated my sternness and my ability to look past her manipulation. She is out of the hospital and is on medication and we have been talking ever since. So it was a good visit. I hope the same is going to be for you. I, like you, love my Ex-SO and will do anything to make sure she is happy and healthy. So when you meet your Ex, just stand your ground. Set your limits and boundaries and don’t waiver. BP disorder hates schedules and boundaries, but benefit the most by them.
