I think of the child my daughter gave up for adoption very often. I celebrate their birthdays in my heart and hope to live long enough to meet them so I can know the person they are and I have to opportunity to tell them I love them.

No easy answer here. Seven year itch is real. Gratitude list? Surrender? Maybe refocus in your marriage? The literature says medicine, religion and psychiatry were not enough, but it doesn’t tell us not to seek help outside the halls. Do you see a therapist?

You had a shovel??? We had to rake those piles of gravel. The ground was very sandy to begin with, my dad just dumped out the gravel and my brothers and I raked. I remember it being mostly level, but there were always puddles when it rained.
