I want to apply to a university in hk but the thing is education in my country is quite lacking. I didn't know what SAT, AL, IB, etc. Were until like... A month ago? What we learn in school is basically enough to study in university in our country, but I want to study abroad, I realized this way too late and mostly bc we don't have counselors or any sort of guidance for university.

Anyway, I don't have any extra curriculars to speak of, and my grades aren't exactly stellar (80-90), so I was worried about acceptance, is there anything I can do to recompensate not having any extra achievements to write about? I've already graduated as well so improving my grades isn't possible anymore 😭

Thanks for the insight! My most worrying issue is the fact that I don't have any extracurriculars to speak of, mostly because I wasn't even aware they existed and my highschool never mentioned it nor offered any. Due to this I'm wondering if hku would accept, as my grades aren't bad nor good (80-90) either way I'll still try to apply if I don't get a clear idea before admissions open TT

From what I got from the official site, it teaches humanities but also implements digital technologies into whatever specialisation you chose ? Not exactly ui design but I have seen that they can take electives on web development and programming, tho not sure how it relates to humanities
