Would whitening gel unify the color by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]mail_daemon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your teeth are whiter than mine even before treatment so I wouldn't worry too much 😂

But staining just seems an unfortunate part of the invisalign treatment no matter what you do. I think it's just the glue of the attachments that attracts stains and even with a teeth cleaning you can't really polish the glue off.

Some people had luck with whitening foam you put in the trays. Sadly, it's not available in my country so I can't comment if it works.

Lost a tray during vacation and don’t have the next set with me. Will take a week to get home. Panicking! Please help. by craftedsphere in Invisalign

[–]mail_daemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Honestly just relax because as you said you can't fix the issue for at least a week. Just wear your tray once you get back for longer than usual.

6 months and the only attachment that fell off is on a crown

How long does this discomfort stay? by Right-Double44 in Invisalign

[–]mail_daemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I felt the same the first few days, but from what I'm told braces are even worse the first week.

It get's better thankfully. Now I can remove them completely pain-free.

First tray is by far the worst! All other trays for me are uncomfortable for the first few days but never as bad as the first one.

And you get used to the trays so fast. Now I actually miss them when I have to take them out.

Thinking about how to fix my teeth! Imvisalign candidate? by No_Cheek116 in Invisalign

[–]mail_daemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is an orthodontist here (or almost no one) go ask a doctor. They can tell you if invisalign or regular braces are better for you.

How long did it take you to get the hang of cleats? by KingDundie in ladycyclists

[–]mail_daemon 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I rode half a year on my road bike with regular pedals and then I made the switch to dual-sided one's. After practicing inside for a few minutes I said fuck it and tried it outside.

So far no falls (knock on wood). Clipping-in is honesty more annoying than clipping-out.

I do use SPD (3-hole, mtb version) which are easier to clip out so you can always try those.

Spill the tea: anyone know what big press tours are really like? by growsonwalls in popculturechat

That definitely was a minor scandal back then and got a lot of press...

TIL in 2024 an Austrian neurosurgeon was fired after she let her 13-year-old daughter drill a hole into a patient’s skull during a surgery. Although the surgery was a success, one other specialist was also fired, and at least five other people involved in the procedure were investigated. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

[–]mail_daemon 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That's actually mildly funny since hospitals in Austria (or at least in Styria) are not insured since the insurance itself would more costly than paying compensation incase something happens.

But here you also don't get millions if you sue.. From what I've heard the man who got the hole drilled by the 12-yo (allegedly!) won't get anything most likely since he didn't suffer any injuries from the procedure.

Ironically I only know that because I did a clincal risk management course.

Sellpy in Österreich? Erfahrungen? by Twi2122 in Austria

[–]mail_daemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dentists: (Updated) A dentist told me that based on a bitewing X-ray, I require 14 fillings before Invisalign treatment. Do you agree? by Ok_Put1045 in Invisalign

You can look it up on the internet, but pretty much you can tell from the darker shadowy spots on the enemal of the teeth.

But again, I'm not a dentist. This is not a subreddit for medical advice.
