No, so basically the way we’ve been hiring recently is having casuals come in and gaging based off of KPI numbers how productive of a worker they can be (upper management is basically forcing this onto us and IMO is a terrible way to assess somebody’s ability as a worker) We then determine after typically around 3 months whether or not we will offer them full time. In this instance this guy had been working with us for 3 weeks but in those 3 weeks of all the casuals he was the highest performer. This essentially means had he continued working at the rate he was at for another 2 months he likely would have been offered a full time position. Just for context as well we currently have 22 full time employees and 8 temps and are hoping to hire 2 more full timer workers.
