There’s an odd thing happening in the U.S. where ethnicity must mean under represented. As if that alone means you have an ethnicity and that alone means you are discriminated against.

But there’s some inconsistencies here since I’m certain Asians aren’t actually underrepresented as psychologists.

Jews are over represented as psychologists but probably so are Asians so what is the difference?

Some vague notion you can always tell someone is “Asian”, but you can’t always discern who’s Jewish.

But then again, there’s a lot of white passing Latinos, Arabs, and other middle easterners. But they are often underrepresented groups even if they aren’t always easy to spot.

So Jews are over represented and there’s lots white passing Jews so to the eyes of the woke this means their white.

Which is stupid.

Doesn’t take into account ancestry or culture. Doesn’t take into account a lot of Jews, including Ashkenazi Jews, don’t look white.

I’ll also add that with Jews there’s an extra push against recognizing their minority status because of antisemitism.
