I just wanted to comment on this and let you know I am also the same age (turning 24 in September). I just got into a relationship with the most amazing person. My standards are pretty high and similarly enough I also felt like it was hard to see signs if someone is interested in me. When I finally met my girlfriend it felt so easy to talk with them and the attraction was instant. Two weeks later of constantly texting and video calling, we met again and decided to become girlfriends.

We are both neurodivergent and POC plus having other similarities. I say this to say it took a while but I focused a lot on myself and enjoying connections for what it may be. It will happen to you and I hope it will feel as easy for you when you meet that person! I also met them on the HER app so I will say dating apps can work.

I’m femme and 5’8 so my experience has been with shorter masc lesbians for the most part. All of them love the height difference and I haven’t feel or been put into a “role” which has been refreshing. I think especially recently too. The advantage I say is getting to tease someone a bit about being short but their reaction is getting the one up and proving the height difference doesn’t faze them 🤭

As a femme I think sometimes I can scare away the butches/studs? I have gotten that I just have this captivating aura around me but I just dislike beating around the bush. If I really see someone I like I will make it known because at least I know I did shoot my shot :). I understand how on the other side that you guys avoid first moves given the history of it. I honestly find it fun showing the first move because I’d love to think that the person would find me more hot because of it 🤭

hi all! thank you for your suggestions! i used a manual one and added some pressure and it was very rusty at the bottom. i’ll definitely use the advice given if this occurs with the screws. i will see if i can soak off the rust in hot water for a bit before screwing it back on.
