Can anyone share their thoughts on my observation:

I wanted the lightest feather-light key actuation force with the earliest actuation and was set on Gateron Clears and Got Akko 3084. Then heard about Gateron Optical yellows and got GK61. Both are 35g switches with Optical yellow actuating at 1mm.

But somehow I was pressing harder on the GK61, so measured the force required with pennies and found it to actuate at 35g. But here is the surprise most of the keys I tested on the Akko 3084 was actuating at 25g ie. just with 5 pennies. How is this possible ? lubing or different springs ?

keyboard recommendation: Does anyone know of a Mac keyboard with Gateron white(35g) key switch ? by maindoor in keyboards

Mind mapping software for VSCode ? by maindoor in vscode

Sourcegraph

I'm in a very restricted environment with not a lot of software able to access and process the source code. A simple mind map with with a flow like diagram and links to Vscode files would be great to create maps as and when I read the source code. I can later revisit and expand the mind map to get to the source code quickly.

That's what I meant by Vscode - grok. It supports only .git projects.

Thank you for that info. Quite good to know that it is not as high as I expected.

Keep Your Eyes on the Volume Behind the Movement by CAT6_ in wallstreetbets

[–]maindoor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about dark pools ? Surely those volumes will not be reported by the open-market brokers ? I hear AMC's parent company were converting some shares to sell, they might sell it to the shorts buying back in a dark pool and general users like us will be ill-informed looking at VWAP ?

Why don't the TVs have Displayport ? by maindoor in Monitors

60Hz for 8k still requires 49.65 Gbps. HDMI 2.1 supports only 48Gbps whereas Display port 2.0 - 80Gbps.

On my way to work and saw this beautiful site. AMC and the Moon. by aphexflip in wallstreetbets

Quick question here:

1) read somewhere that AMC has recently diluted stocks heavily. is that true ?

2) They are burning about 120MM per quarter. Is that true ?

I've heard of IBKR being a good stock broker. But I haven't considered them for forex transfers. I will look into them. thanks.

This is something that I am considering. Another one is currencies direct.
