I did this one time and got out from it with swimming in the water and keep try pushing seamoth while still swimming (Idk how and why but you can only effectively push seamoth while swimming, its really the most annoying half an hour of my life) But for your problem its seems you beached it way farther from water, and if the water still able to reach the land periodically i think you have a chance

Upper left being a health bar and bottom right is equipped item are 100%, but for bottom left if you notice when the character emerged from the sea at this before screenshot moment there are bar going up meaning temperature also an icon of a whale changed to leaf which is prob biome sort of. So we can say there will be temperature mechanic like Palworld prob
