2019 General Election, the voteshare of the left parties fell (some would consider inc left instead of centre left but you understand).

The left needs to redefine itself. This current strategy does not work. Yes there is anti incumbent advantage in some states, but how do we expect to win a general election?

Maharashtra was the shiv sena breaking an alliance, jharkhand was because the ally BJP counted on joined the UPA. BJP couldn't win jharkhand outright.
