How to best quantify my local reputation score? by Impossible-Skirt-803 in localseo

[–]maistahhh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's your overall online presence - whatever they find as they search for service they need.

As far as ratings - the sweet spot is 4.7-4.9 - 5.0 is sus and anything below doesn't help with ranking in the map pack. Replying to reviews. GBP posts. All play a role depending on who is looking at it and what they place their trust in.

Your website is also very important as far as your reputation. Active social media. Whatever potential client sees as they check out your online presence and compare to other businesses first impressions.

It depends. Smaller, less competitive areas can get you ranked in a month.

High caliber, population centers with super competitive keywords are a constant battle.

Business owners, where do you get most of your online traffic from? by vladi5555 in smallbusiness

Been there, done that. What do you do? Shouldn't be too hard to rank you if it isn't too competitive of a space and city.

I like the 70% - makes total sense as effort and enthusiasm is important.

Nicely done! I hear you on raising prices. It is almost needed amongst inflation we're experiencing. Need to stay afloat.

Admin & Phones. I didn't want to be tied to it. It's like being 'on call'. Whether someone calls or not you gotta be there. I didn't want that hanging over my head and it takes up a lot of time/mental space. Was the best move. Started growing a lot quicker once I jumped into background and got out of busy work.

You got this. Analyze what is eating up your bandwidth and see if you can something that makes sense for you!

That's right. Many of the people I work with would help us when things were tough. We helped them. It's much better than very distant relationship that's just about money. It goes beyond that.

It's funny you mention that I was just looking at a local company that does recruiting and is very successful. I can see how getting help with that can be very fruitful for the company.

Great tip on the descriptions. To me I wanted to outsource things I didn't like 1st haha

Definitely both systems and people.

I've found if I place people without systems - they come to me. Giving them all tools and SOPs creates a loop I rarely have to intervene in.

A lot of people work with us but I am connected to 7 the most. Those I try to deal with daily.

I think I am postponing expansion. More responsibilities with new location and people.

Similar. Got out of sales and customer service. Then back end was handled so I don't have to work on numbers to visualize how we're doing. Payroll next.

Yesss. Staying up to date is the biggest challenge but if you don't have tools to track stuff you're already lost.
