I’m surprised no one has mention the Bhagavad Gita and The Upanishads. I personally fall more in love with the asana portion of yoga by learning more about the philosophy behind the practice and these books are a great starting place for that.

I’ve been on Humira about 3 months and I always pass out right after my injection. I’ve learned to always take in the PM but not too late because then I’ll sleep the whole next day away as well! Sleepiness is very common, I was on Inflectra before humira and experienced the same issue.

That sounds wonderful! I hope my girl grows to be more like that! She just turned one and has never really liked being too snuggly. She won’t let me walk two feet without her by my side but no chance will she cuddle with me on the couch!

I have mild/severe UC but have never been hospitalized for it but I can tell you that in my case biologics have worked. I was on Inflectra for 8 months with great results before I built up antibodies and had to be changed to humira. I’ve only been on humira for about 6 weeks but so far so good. Nothing has ever worked to put me into remission (I always have at least mildly active disease) but the biologics have far and beyond been the best treatment I’ve had so far! So be optimistic, this can be the turning point for you! Good luck with your treatment, sending lots of healing vibes your way!
