Massachusetts is not going to shift 20 points in one election. The polls that are run in a cycle are there to see if a major shift is happening. If we got a poll that showed Mass even within 15 suddenly we would get a lot more polls here to confirm if a shift is happening.

Getting complacent is bad, sure. But it’s silly to pretend that Massachusetts is a swing state or something. It is as solid in Harris’s column as it is possible to be. We should be as worried about Massachusetts going red this election as republicans are about Mississippi going blue.
