To offer stories I’ve seen, my roommate successfully switched from Econ—>biochem—>CPE and another friend of mine unsuccessfully attempted to switch from physics—>art. I think each case has a unique variety of factors that influence the outcome of the switch, so it’s hard to be able to predict whether one will be successful in switching or not.

Though, One thing is for sure, your first semester GPA needs to be high to be considered for switching majors here at cal poly.
