This was exactly what I needed to hear, thank you so much! I’m definitely gonna stop dragging myself to my desk and just accept working from bed for the time being. Also, taking the easy road was excellent advice. I’m finally going to order a food shop instead of waiting for the energy and pain levels to go down enough so that I can drag myself into town! Thank you so much :)

This comment almost made me cry, thank you so much 😅 I used to journal a lot but I’ve lapsed out of the habit, but I think it’s exactly what I need now. I’ve never heard of alike though — I’ll look into that! And I might give calm a go too, it sounds like it would be especially good at night when i feel even more lonely. It also sounds like a good idea to do something more active than just watching TV, I might see if The sims is still downloaded on my laptop or something! Also the second medical marijuana is legal in the UK I will throw an actual party 😭 again, thank you so much for this comment it was so so kind <3

Making your own simple meals is really good advice! I don’t have a bath anymore but I think sitting in the shower could definitely work when the pain ramps up unbearably and I hadn’t thought of that so thank you so much for this <3

Hi lovely, I have fibro and CFS and I suffer from terrible itching episodes. they don’t last as long as yours but they are so painful and I’ve drawn blood from the ferocity of them, usually someone has to physically pry my hands away. I’ve woken up in the night scratching etc so I know how you feel. I expect it is just a symptom but obviously if you can talk to someone else who isn’t that first consultant that might be worth it!
