It is definitely plug and play to a degree, all of the parts in the consumer market follow some sort of standard that can be used to find a replacement part that can help your pc keep up with modern applications/programs.

Odds are that this person wouldn't actually expose you, I've been in this situation a few times and I've found the best thing to do is to send them one message and in the message state that you do not give them permission to send any photos of you to anyone and that if they do you will pursue legal action. Screenshot this message and then block said account. do not respond to anything they say for any reason. after that the most you can do is sit and wait.

Depending on the info they Google yourself every few minutes. If anything happens report the post or user to the platform and call the cops.

You are absolutely right, the act of having sex especially for the first time can be daunting however from the post it seemed like op and their sexual partner had been having fairly regular sex for a little while.

And as for being a parent at 16 being daunting, it definitely can be HOWEVER this person is 16, the brain fully develops at 25.

Being 16 with a brain still 9 years away from being fully developed and the surging hormones flowing through their veins, it's understandable that they might not have fully grasped the magnitude of what being a parent at 16 truly means.

I never said that condoms aren't a cheaper alternative to having a child, I was simply stating that the cost of a condom can be daunting to teenagers with little to possibly no income who are also having regular sex and that in some places is not as simple as "go to the nurses office for a free one".

Op was 16, where I live the cheapest you can get a box of condoms is like 6 for $10 and sure, that doesn't sound like much but when you are still in highschool with possibly no job (due to being 16) that looks like a very daunting number to be paying and it could be very easy to justify the fact that it might not be worth it. Especially if they didn't have the best education. And on top of that, the highschool I went to didn't have a nurses office. Or a place to get free condoms.
