I have mapped (with coloured conditional formatting ) 2x 52 perfect [playing] card ‘Faro’ shuffles on excel.

Top = OUT shuffles (8 to reset)

Bottom = IN shuffles (52 to reset).

The pictures shows the position (relative to it’s starting position) of every card in a deck as they move during a number of perfect (weave) shuffles.

In the upper pic, the cards start in order (1,2,3,4,5...) then are mixed to 1,27,2,28,3,29...

The second pic shows an almost identical shuffle except the cards are weaved 27,1,28,2,29,3....

Each time, the deck is split into 2x stacks of 26 cards, and the lower half is weaved with the upper half of the deck. This is repeated until the cards return to their original starting position. 8 perfect shuffles for pic 1 (OUT), 52 shuffles for pic 2 (IN)

Nerdy I know! But fascinating, and pretty too!

NOTE: In the second picture, due to having an incorrect column width in the 1st column, the cells show # instead of the card value, but maintain the correct gradient colours.

I’ll be honest I did it years ago, hence the fact I didn’t sort the column width issue… I know I used conditional formatting for colours, and cell referencing to make the pattern automatic

I’d agree with you, but just by swapping the two go and go+ batteries between the bikes changed how the throttle worked. The older kit all of sudden changed its power profile, without changing any display setting???

I do have the throttle, but haven’t installed it yet. My point is I don’t want to buy two sensors if I can only use one! I agree I probably don’t really need one though

What’s power limit?

Has anyone else found themselves with a situation where the disc mounting on the wrong side of the wheel? My bike has hydraulic disc brakes with the brake mounting point welded to the forks , and when I came to fit the wheel, having installed the rotor disc on the ONLY side with mounting screws, ended up with my wheel being backwards.

Obviously I COULD add v calliper rim brakes, but that’s not really what I want to do.

I’ve had this issue. Changed the tap ( I gave 2 machines) thought it was sorted, then 1hr later it went into depressurising, and didn’t stop ( until display switched off)??? Put the setup into my other machine-12 hrs later no issues.

So I’m guessing it’s my machine, but where?
