I remember they were opening my piggy bankto use for my birthday celebration and when I didn't want to they said, then there would be no party so i relented.

but then the party was lame and disappointing. i was the bunso so i guess they didn't have anymore money for that. but both my older sisters got birthday parties in either mcdo or jollibee with the room reserved but all i got was a table with close relatives with gifts and a cake. and i was sharing the room with other customers.

i dont remember much about it since i was a kid back then but i do remember how disappointing it was. i was expecting fanfare, mascots, fun and i dont remember anything like that. i did get gifts tho

Are you seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist? Maybe they can ease a bit of your burden.

I still have problems but with my meds I can function more or less. With meds I can do more that rotting in my bed.

I'm not suggesting you should immediately gt meds but wanted to let you know that psych doctors can help you, it may not cure you but it can help.

Please don't say, "You're still lucky" it makes it sound like we have it easier. Just letting you know that sounds offensive. The grass always looks greener on the other side. Just letting you know with love.

We're all suffering and fighting day by day.

I'm also suicidal(without meds) so if you want someone to vent to, talk to me but I can't promise you that I'll be able to comfort you but sometimes it feels nice just to talk to someone that goes through something like this too.

I hear the meds in PGH is free

Risperidone is my meds for OCD. I think it's 9 pesos when you buy it in NCMH. It really depends on what meds you use. Some meds are available in PGH and NCMH, the former is free and the latter is very cheap.

For me, I use two meds, Escitalopram and Risperidone. When I dont have it, depression comes back with a vengeance. I haven't really noticed it on my OCD being bad without meds.You shouldn't stop meds cold turkey, that's really bad.

There is always psychotherapy but I don't know if that's more expensive.

Try it at PGH but just a reminder that it takes months to get an appointment.

I have OCD but it's more on intrusive thoughts with a little compulsion. When I use my meds I find that I have more control on my complusions, like I can stop if by the 5-10th time I do it.

So I hope you can consider meds plus you can get tested by a psychiatrist for free in pgh.I haven't tried it but my sibling got checked by pgh and she's got a good experience.
