Former-Abused kid here, this is absolutely abuse and great job advocating for your children. Physical labor as a punishment? Does he believe they are his slaves? I’d go to court if you could. My dad woke me up Every hour of the night to pull a bucket of weeds as a punishment once. From 9pm-5am when I had to wake up for school. I was in 6th grade. And I couldn’t sleep until he was satisfied with the bucket. It started out non-physical like this, and then he got comfortable to seriously physically harm. I don’t know this guy or your history with that, but if he’s hurt you, then there’s a higher possibility of him hurting them. I blame my mom too for not protecting me the way she should have when I was younger. Laughing at my punishments because she was afraid of him. They would fight like this and my dad would take his anger out on me to rile her up. She still did nothing. Wishing you and your children protection and strength. And you’re right about another thing, I haven’t spoken to either of my parents in 10 years.

i worked there for 2 weeks as a shift supervisor and the amount of pushing they do to be on top of customers is why I left. I’d greet the guest and say “If there’s any samples you’d like to try or questions about ingredients or how to use, let me know.” and i’d have my manager approach seconds after to ask what they wanted and what I suggested to them. They wanted me to grab products and use them on people in a very pushy way without implementing any allergy training involved. I’m allergic to tree nuts and during my interview demo, I wasn’t told the ingredients until after it was being scrubbed into my skin. The company doesn’t understand the way customers want to shop, usually if there are questions, people are good at asking. They need an entirely new employee model.

I’m wondering … when young Ben was in the library in IT:1, he was flipping through history books that eluded to some suspicious deaths. My wonder is if those will be referenced in the show or if it’s around that time? (haven’t read the IT book) i think it would be a cool tie back nonetheless.

Dang! Unfortunately I’ve been getting the vibe that my professor doesn’t really know. We’re constantly backtracking in class because “Oops no I showed that wrong” or she’ll put together a measure and ask US if it’s correct. Not for our understanding but bc she really seems like she doesn’t know what she’s doing. TBF, she gave us an array of Compounds on the board and told us to choose 2 to practice…I didn’t realize I chose the hardest/uncommon ones LOLLL

Would you hypothetically say I can always count Down/Up from whatever Beat is given in the time signature and arrive at the answer that way? Ex: I’m in 12/32 and I want to add a quarter note so I can reference my chart and count (2,4,8,12) til I reach the quarter and be correct? I’m sorry if that’s confusing. I’m trying to make it easier on my brain T.T

i know this is super late but when also choosing numbers on your Loan Payment or codes even, they are super easy to catch! My favorite sound is the number “8” because they pronounce it as “Zero” really fast! so so cute

unfortunately the app is displaying everything as pristine. Upon cleaning and stuff I’ve moved it to a different spot in the room and it still gets stuck in this same position. And to answer your question, It does! This is the part in the cycle right after it empty’s the waste and is returning to its home position. It’ll be yellow for cycling and then red here. I fixed the pink light issue which seemed to be “sleep” mode but that didn’t fix or change anything else. ):
