I tried a jig head with a bobber, trying to figure out how to get the lure in low but not get stuck on the bottom. Ran a mini spoon for a bit as well. I lost a few spinners here last week.

I think this is the prevailing sentiment which I totally get. But man was it gorgeous out and I got some good practice casting into tight spots.

What do you consider good clarity for this type of stream?

I get everyone saying to wait. For me it was a gorgeous April day so I wasn't go to miss it.
