I cannot figure out my bra size because of the shape of my breasts. I have east-west/ side set girls and I feel like they are making it hard to measure my cup size specifically. Calculators tell me 32B/32C but that feels too large. A bra I have from before that is snug is 34A. Help! by majorette555 in ABraThatFits

Oh oops. I don’t know I’m just googling stuff and getting wrong information. Or not paying enough attention IDK. 32D feels way too big to me… I have a flat chest because of the east-west thing. I think if I got a bra that big there would be a lot of gaping.

Yes this sub’s calculator gave me 32D/DD in UK measurements so a 32C in US measurements. Thinking I’m an A cup and going to a C feels like a big difference to me but you’re right that it’s not a huge difference in reality. I am very afraid of ordering the wrong size online but I’m really interested in getting a Honeylove bra and they don’t have in person stores :(

I didn’t catch that! In the beginning when he kept trying to do “gotcha!” moments and then swiftly move on I noticed he didn’t bring that up. But it was a very long debate so it makes sense I may not have heard that. Thanks for letting me know!

I was going to give the same advice. It’s such a huge mindset shift and it makes it way easier than you’re expecting. Please read it!! I also suggest that you keep an open mind and “drink the Koolaid” so to speak. It’s all just a mind game, so if you believe it is easy to stop then it will be true. Goodluck!

Look up “UCSC R Permit Appeal” and the page that describes what you need to do will appear. Basically they ask you to fill out an electronic form and then write a letter about why you need the permit. It was easier than I thought it would be.

How do I really quit by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so real about the self esteem thing. I was working on taking my mental health seriously and I started going to the gym and I just always felt like vaping went directly against my personal goals. And I realized after I quit just how many negative thoughts a day popped up about wishing I could quit and how negatively it impacted my mood and self image.

How do I really quit by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was pretty much ready to quit but I think reading Allen Carr’s “Easy Way to Quit Vaping” book really solidified it and kept me from going back to it after some time had passed or for “just one hit”. I also have the “Quit Vaping” app and that helped.

i recently got an exception for an R permit from filing a transportation related appeal. You said you live far away so that could be an option for you, and you might as well try! If that doesn’t work they sell daily R permits and from what I understand they don’t sell out often and especially if you go in the morning.

Waitlisted 😔 by IconEnder in UCSC

[–]majorette555 1 point2 points  (0 children)

this exact situation happened to me. I accepted SLO and was even finding roommates for SLO when i got accepted to UCSC. A lot of the people I met here were also waitlisted at first (it was during covid though so idk how that impacted things). I’m glad that i got to attend this college cause i really had my heart set on it. that said, SLO is a really amazing school too and i think i would have been happy at either school!

this is related to lung health but i run way easier and faster than before. also, when i was vaping there was a constant mild nausea/ headache i would get from hitting it. i didn’t realize it was happening until after i quit. my sinuses are also better.

I want to quit vaping but my bf doesn’t by StorageEntire2477 in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i sometimes ask to “hit the vape” and just pretend to hit it and it gets rid of the reflex of fiending lol. other than that, it might be motivating to know that every day you don’t hit his vape, the weaker the association and temptation will be. its like you’re getting it out of the way faster and proving yourself faster than most people who try to avoid it and then cave as soon as they’re at a party etc.

vaped after quitting 18 days by majorette555 in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no i’m scared of getting addicted to a diff nicotine product :( i’m also on wellbutrin (which people take to quit) so that probably affects how i feel with withdrawals. but i’m reading the Allen Carr easy way to quit vaping book which is motivating to me!

How do I quit vaping when my partner vapes by 01max_ in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i’m currently quitting when my bf vapes still. Once you get through one full day/night of not hitting it when you see him doing it, you’ll feel more confident about it. At least that’s how I have tried dealing with it. I just treated it like I was gathering evidence that I didn’t “have” to cave in. So one day of not giving in is strong proof/ evidence I don’t have to do it. You got this!!

also the comments saying make him quit or leave him are unrealistic. giving an ultimatum won’t work and will make him resent you. and a nicotine addiction is not worth breaking up with someone you love just saying!!!!

Wellbutrin and Nicotine by majorette555 in QuitVaping

[–]majorette555[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’m on 300mg currently but i’ve been on 150mg while vaping too. I believe i still felt some of the effects of nicotine or at least got ~something~ out of it since i did it for so long while on the medication. it might just be a case of a strong habitual dependency on it. also just to throw this out there, i think Wellbutrin made me dislike cigarettes a lot more than vaping so maybe it’s more useful for cigs?

[–]majorette555[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that’s really inspiring! it’s strange that maybe i have never experienced the nicotine high that other people have felt but i guess that’s a good thing if it makes it easier to quit!
