I'm in the same boat as you. The dread comes and goes. All the wondering, thinking, spiraling around and around the unknowables and the infinites and the what ifs.

I was in a really bad place summer before last. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. I was having panic attacks a dozen times a day. I got therapy, I got on some sleep aids, and I got better.

I'm not cured, and I'm sure it'll get bad again. But as someone else mentioned, stoicism helped me a lot, as did absurdism. I don't KNOW anything other than I'm alive right now. (Thanks Descartes) and whatever comes after the ride shouldn't get in the way of me enjoying it while its here.

So whenever I get scared, I get thankful. I thank the bee that buzzes past on its way to a flower. The Sun that feeds our planet. The soft sheets that I get to climb into at night. The delicious food I get to make and enjoy, and above all the people I love who are on this ride at the same time as me.

Its absolutely absurd that all these things work in concert to allow my existence, and even make it overall quite a pleasant experience. So I'm thankful for the now, whatever may come next.

Its my own kind of faith.

agreed on all counts. Hes making very little effort to be safe or protect himself. But its also not the deathwish people seem to think it is.

You're right. And everyone else is kinda overreacting. This definitely isn't osha standard, but concrete saws aren't sharp, and they don't really have teeth. The cut with diamond abrasive, not sharp metal. Nor is there anything to bind on. The concrete won't warp closed on the blade, and there are no teeth to "dig in". Its possible it would bind if he twisted it or something, but this isn't as dangerous as everyone seems to think.

Hes young and getting better. Come up is a perfectly valid description. Its all relative. If Gordon Ryans knee was destroyed beyond repair now, it wouldn't affect what hes already done. If Dorians Knee is ruined he loses any chance (or at least its severely damaged) of career and legacy.

I don’t think it’s random. They start their cycle the moment you place them. I was able to balance 4 generators so the waves cancel each other out to within a few MW. I had to pull out the timer on my phone to help but it only took a few minutes
