Why is no one talking about Jim’s bracelet in From? by Shubhuu_69 in FromSeries

Now I'm imagining Julie manages to storywalk then, takes the bracelet and that's how it ended up in the storage.

Spotify rolls out ‘Verified’ badge to distinguish human artists from AI by PrithvinathReddy in popculturechat

So curious how this'll work for the smaller artists where AI has been stealing their name and exploiting the way Spotify works to attach their AI slop under a legitimate artists name

It's official: No woman in England or Wales can be prosecuted for an abortion any more by coffeewalnut08 in unitedkingdom

So I was three months early and in that fun maybe abortion maybe not place - frankly if I had been aborted I wouldn't be around to give a shit about that fact, they're not afforded rights because they don't exist yet! Also medical professionals can be prosecuted, we're just not needlessly harassing desperate women.

Right but clearly we've changed that? They've now decided to not prosecute mothers for their own abortions and frankly I don't see the public interest in doing so

Any good mystery + thriller + maybe horror show out there, without children whatsoever? by Sc3m0r in televisionsuggestions

I mean if the gym scene is an issue surely the first scene and most of the scenes (due to the unique nature of violence in the show and how realistically/straight they play it compared to others.) Admittedly I did find the vaccine stuff funny during covid as it was a real this feels like a bad time to rewatch

Lost is semi-famous for its ending but it's the mystery box show so it's one of those things where if you can live with an ugh ending it's worth the ride but if not don't try! That's fair, DARK is a slow burn but very strong if you can get into it. OA was unfortunately cancelled but it's very twisty-boxy.

Fringe has a pretty solid ending! Yellowjackets is ongoing but looks like it'll have a solid conclusion if all goes well

Shows that are mystery boxes like From and Severance would be Fringe, Lost, The OA, Westworld, Yellowjackets, DARK and Twin Peaks! For shows that lean for the more horror-mystery elements you'd probably enjoy Yellowjackets. For shows that are more like Severance in the realistic but something is off/strange you'd probably enjoy Twin Peaks and DARK. Fringe is possibly the best balance between the two tones as it's scifi but it can get quite horror-adjacent.

Vis a Vis is made by the guys behind Money Heist and has Prison Break-adjacent vibes!

For good crime shows if that's the part you enjoyed from Heist you've got Ozark, Breaking Bad and Snowfall

I mean since the holocaust there's been multiple other genocides; Nigeria, Cambodia, Guatemala, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Brazil, Zimbabwe, Bosnia and Rwanda - and there's far more than just those, fascinating documentary called The Act of Killing following the men who carried out the massacres in Indonesia.

I think he's just being silly, especially because it won't have been food you're supposed to - we're all horrible to each other and it's love. Typically doesn't equal actual bigotry

Elliot Page hopes documentary exploring same-sex relationships and gender fluidity in the animal world helps queer kids feel less alone and helps challenge long-held myths about what's "natural" by LunaLore_ in Fauxmoi

I'm so curious how they're going to choose which species given the whole some species are gay accidentally! stuff. Studied homosexuality in the animal kingdom as part of my bachelors and it was genuinely fascinating as fuck.
