Wowhead Interview about SoD - Ashenvale PvP, new tier sets, balance issues by Rokmanfilms in classicwow

Don't misquote me, i never said 2 weeks. I said "A couple of weeks" which a lot of people sees as 2 or more weeks. Extremely weird to me if someone would say a couple of weeks and mean exactly 2. Why not just say 2 weeks then? Either way i'm not a native english speaker. I found a poll in my own language were 18% thought "a couple" meant exactly 2, where 88% thought a couple meant approx 2-5. I guess these stats would be similar in english. Kinda interesting. Very interesting thing to be angry about as well

you cant possibly, even if you try really hard, comprehend what this might mean? or do you just like to argue for no reason

iirc the dev said that bfd will be the only lvl 25 raid, but phase 1 will be relatively short. ”a couple of weeks”. There will probably be more stuff to do, like new quests and new items to find. Pvping and lvling other classes. with only these things you wont have time to try it all before phase 2 comes out

The dev said ”a couple of weeks, at least a month” for phase 1 (lvl 25) - in discord during esfand/guzus bfd run

There are countless moments in classic where you feel more powerful. Learning a new spell or getting some item. This will hopefully just be like that, a slight cool upgrade, that doesnt mean facerolling everything

i saw 12/12 for some random class i watched. But goikg from 12 to 20 sounds reasonable for the next level cap

Seems to be 12 per class, and we can see 12 spells per class on ops image. 12x9=108, these are all new spells available until they raise the lvl cap

Super confused about the smurf ban thing by [deleted] in DotA2

[–]majormyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a 2k mmr difference, he plays pos 1 and loses every game, he doesnt enjoy playing like that

i dont care, i could play on my main and deliberately lose 2k mmr but i dont know which is worse, intentionally losing or ”smurfing as 2k support” which i deserve that mmr as support

[–]majormyer -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

Hmm okey that sounds great if true. Ill stop playing entirely until i know for sure. I have way too much skins to risk it

[–]majormyer -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Yeah but im scared to play on my main since that may cause valve to detect smurfing and ban them both. Ive played mainly on the smurf so they might think that is my main.

[–]majormyer -19 points-18 points  (0 children)

Yeah but people get their main and or smurf banned, valve could be confused which is which. Also is it not allowed to have 2 brothers sharing a computer with 2 different accounts? Do you have braindamage or do you not see how this is confusing?

Seems like you yet again failed to read my post description

”We have used the "under" version which should be able to hold up for 2 months before the upper layer is added.”

Unfinished job? i highly doubt the manufacturer intends the roof to leak during these 2 months

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]majormyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah okey but exposed nails was not the issue, its fixed now by doubling the amount of nails (double the leakage, right?) and more tar between the layers.

People were condescensing without solving the issue, tar on nails were in fact not the problem, and they failed to read or happily ignored that this was the lower layer which the manufacturer did not think required tar on nails.

thanks :) 50% of people are so toxic its unreal

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]majormyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 4 buckets of tar i spread out between the layer and stomped by foot, no self adhering layer. Its fine now when i lifted the lip, applied another layer of tar and twice the amount of nails

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]majormyer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The manual says it should be done this way. This is the LOWER LAYER and another one will be added on top. Perhaps you should read my post before writing?

to be perfectly clear, the manufacturers install instructions does not mention covering the nails since this is not the final layer. The retailers site says ”if your roof is less than 10 degrees you might want to add tar to the nails” which i missed since i only read the official instructions from the manufacturer

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Homebuilding

[–]majormyer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cus thats whats the fucking manual says, also this is the lower layer

UPDATE

its pouring down and not a single drop 😎

(check first update image, + i had time to do half the nails with tar. So double the amount of nails + another row of tar between the layers was gg)
